Merryvale & Starmont Wine Dinner at Superior Seafood & Oyster Bar in New Orleans, LA


Join us for a fabulous wine dinner featuring Merryvale and Starmont wines at Superior Seafood & Oyster Bar in New Orleans on Tuesday, September 30th. Reception begins at 6:30pm.

Here is the menu featuring the freshest Louisiana ingredients and seafood prepared by Executive Chef Josh Boeckelman:

Reception and Passed Hors d'oeuvres
Frangelico & Rosé Poached Pear Slices, Cochon de lait, and Brie
on a Sourdough Toast Point
Served alongside the Starmont Rosé

Course One
Salad consisting of Chantrelles,
Asparagus Tips, Dragon Carrots,
Sorrel leaves, Breakfast Radishes,
all Topped with a Poached Egg
Served alongside Merryvale Sauvignon Blanc

Course Two
Sweetbreads, Pancetta, Butternut Squash, Pearl Onions with a Brown Butter Sage Emulsion
Paired with the Merryvale Chardonnay

Course Three
Sea Bass served with a Celery and Sun Choke puree, Figs, Prosciutto,
Watercress and an Apricot Veal Glaze
Paired with the Merryvale Pinot Noir

Course Four
Crispy skin Duck Breast, Carrot Flan, Rainbow Sriracha, with a Berry Duck Jus
Served with Merryvale Merlot

Course Five
Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding with a Ice Cream and a Bruléed Banana
Served with Antigua Dessert Wine
