2010 Chardonnay, Carneros
Merryvale’s 2010 Chardonnay is a tasty wine with plenty of character and personality. Rich, buttery and broad-shouldered, but with good balance, the 2010 captures the essence of Carneros in its expressive fruit and enveloping personality. Sweet floral notes, orange blossoms and nectarines add complexity on the finish. This delicious, barrel-fermented Chardonnay finishes with lovely sweetness and length. The 2010 was made from Stanly Ranch and Hyde Vineyard fruit. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015.

The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition is now the third largest wine competition in the United States with over 3,200 entries from 22 countries. The competition is also the largest charitable competition in North America supporting a charity, Camp Good Days – which is dedicated to helping children with terminal cancer.
